Investing in our schools
As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2024-25 Budget is delivering record education funding, including $3.6 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
Project overview
Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High School is being upgraded to provide new and upgraded facilities.
The upgrade will deliver:
• a new commercial kitchen in Building A to support food technology classes
• new toilets and change rooms in Buildings T1 and T2.
Progress summary
• Kitchen upgrade tender has been awarded and works are currently in construction
• New toilets and changing rooms are currently at tender.
Next steps
• Completion of kitchen upgrade works
• Evaluate new toilets and changing room tenders.
