Auditions
Applications for CAPA auditions are currently closed
Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Northmead Creative & Performing Arts High School. Our curriculum teaching programs include: Circus, Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts across year groups 7 - 12 with our auditioned students forming our Gifted or High Potential CAPA classes. Additionally, our ensemble groups and companies, support and extend opportunities for students, through a range of performances, interests and skill development.
CAPA Audition applications are to be submitted with all documentation, portfolio and video submissions online.
Applications without supporting documentation including school reports or previous NAPLAN results will not be considered.
Please ensure you refer to specific information about Portfolio requirements and workshop and individual auditions in each of the CAPA areas.
Steps To Apply
Gather the following:
- Two most recent school reports
- Most recent portrait photo of the candidate (a school photo is acceptable)
- Two middle pages from the most recent NAPLAN results (submit Year 3 NAPLAN if Year 5 is unavailable)
- Reference letter from a current tutor or teacher (if applicable)
A $50 application fee applies for each CAPA subject area applied for.
Pay online and keep your receipt number to include in the application form.

You will need to sign in using a Google account (your own or your child’s) to complete the form and upload all required documents.
CAPA Audition Checklist
Before submitting your application, ensure you have:

Registered your interest on the school website

Read all audition information carefully

Prepared all required documents:
- Two most recent school reports
- Most recent portrait photo
- NAPLAN results (two middle pages)
- Tutor/teacher reference (if applicable)

Paid the audition application fee(s) and noted your receipt number

Completed and submitted the online application form, including uploading all documents

Confirmed your email address is correct for all communications
