CIRCUS CAPA AUDITION CRITERIA AND REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL CRITERIA that candidates will be assessed on for CIRCUS ARE:

• Technical ability and skill on Aerial or Ground apparatus

• Performance ability on Aerial or Ground Apparatus

• Strength, Flexibility & Co-ordination as displayed in video

• Commitment to the Performing Arts both academically and in performance 

Advice for CIRCUS AUDITION 

Students will participate in a 90 minute workshop

Students will need to prepare either a two minute apparatus routine or show 4 intermediate acrobatic or gymnastic skills

CIRCUS Performance Attire

• Unitard, leotard, tights (preferably covering knees)

• Costume suitable to the performance (this is not mandatory and student can wear training attire)

• No jewellery

• Hair tied back
